In 1997, Schwarzenegger underwent a pulmonic valve replacement, which helps blood flow from the heart to the lungs. In 2018, he then had open-heart surgery to replace the aging pulmonic valve that had been inserted. Two years later, he had surgery to replace his aortic valve, which helps blood flow out of the heart to the rest of the body. I had my surgery on Monday and by Friday I was already at a big environmental event with my friend and fellow fitness crusader Jane Fonda,” Schwarzenegger said. “Nobody would ever have thought I started the week with a surgery,” he said, thanking the medical team at the Cleveland Clinic.

Opinion: Bad omens for Trump

CNN —Former President Donald Trump is the closest thing in modern political history to an incumbent who doesn’t hold the office. But these considerable advantages also raise questions about his general election chances given his inability to completely win over Republican primary voters. Despite effectively clinching the Republican nomination with a near-sweep of Super Tuesday states, Trump couldn’t escape the shadow cast by former South Carolina Gov. Haley dropped out Wednesday after consistently winning 30% or so of the GOP primary vote in the states she competed in. Undoubtedly some of the Republican voters who backed Haley in the primaries and caucuses will return to the Trump fold in November, maybe even a majority.

Stefanik has often explained it herself: She saw Trump’s popularity in her upstate New York district and got on board. That first impeachment proceeding made her a “Republican star,” as Trump himself said at the time. When there was a nationwide baby formula shortage in 2022, Stefanik blamed the “White House, House Dems, & usual pedo grifters” on social media. One upset donor told CNN in 2023 that he gave to Santos “because of Elise Stefanik’s endorsement.” Stefanik frequently denied any previous knowledge of his Santos’ history. “The American people stand with President Trump,” Stefanik wrote, “against the unethical, unconstitutional, and unprecedented weaponization of the judicial system.”CNN’s Alayna Treene contributed to this story.

The event, which raised €1.31m in total, was attended by US Climate Envoy John Kerry along with many other climate action visionaries. Prevesk moved to Florida in 2018 for a business opportunity after his mother died. The constant heat and "disingenuous" lifestyle he's experienced in Florida have pushed him to look for residences in California once again — and he's willing to pay up. He knew as a kid that moving to Florida or California would be the goal. Still, neither Florida nor California has given him the sense of community he had in New York. A millennial who moved to California from Tennessee said California is much more working-class friendly. He said he gets more protections and benefits as a nurse in California, as well as a higher salary. While housing prices are higher in California, he said many of his costs are cheaper than in Tennessee. California requires one nurse for every two intensive or critical care patients for instance, while Tennessee does not have state laws for these ratios. Bertagnolli gave a broad answer in which she said far too little is known about women's health through all stages of life. Many states subsidize golf courses with low property taxes, so non-golfers are footing the bill. David Madison/Getty ImagesUrban golf courses also cost taxpayers — even those who don't play — a lot of money. Proponents of retrofitting courses note that reducing the number of golf courses would help boost revenue for courses that do survive. "But then on the flip side, we have these public golf courses that are just these almost vacuous spaces that are quite underutilized." He noted that projects that just involve turning golf courses into parks are often most palatable to neighbors.
